Job Responsibilities

 

  • Create and manage project budget for all assigned projects
  • Develop pre-construction RFP package
  • Conduct project meetings, setting milestones and formulating monthly owner report
  • Establish job processes (RFI’s, submittals, and pay applications) including approving pay applications and negotiating subcontract change orders
  • Perform project scheduling, ensuring project quality control and establishing overall project logistics
  • Managing the closeout process
  • Ensuring fair treatment of subcontractors at all times

Requirements

 

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction science or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or experience as noted above.
  • 7+ years’ experience in ground-up construction of HOTEL & HOSPITALITY projects (ranging in size from $10 – 50MM)
  • Must be proficient with MS Office Software, Primavera project management software and Prolog Construction software experience a must!
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Working knowledge of current market conditions including pricing conventions and trends
  • Managing the closeout process
  • Ensuring fair treatment of subcontractors at all times
